I’ve used the Nissin Di710a flash quite a bit lately, and it works great. One of its best features is the battery pack.
Like most flashes, it takes AA batteries, four of them. In any other flash I’ve ever used, you stick the batteries in to the flash. In this flash, you first put the batteries in a magazine, then you put the magazine into the flash.
That means you can have several magazines ready with fresh batteries, and switch magazines when batteries run out. And do it quickly and easily.
Seems like a brilliant idea.
I bought another magazine so now I can easily switch batteries, and fast too.
That’s a lot of flash photography with two sets of four batteries. I doubt I’ll ever need a third set.
