I’ve used the Nissin Di710a flash quite a bit lately, and it works great. One of its best features is the battery pack.

Morning walk with Nikon D3000… and the dog
Another work week ahead, pretty tough to get going this time, not sure why. But I managed to get up and out this morning for a short walk with the dog. This time I took the Nikon D3000 with me, well, my wife’s D3000.
Nikon 18-200mm VR
This lens is a masterpiece. AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF ED VR. Quite a mouthful.
Service in Kila
Today I went to the service in Kila.
Nikon AF 24mm f/2.8
This will most likely be the new standard lens on my Nikon D80. It’s small, light, focuses fast, and on the D80 (since it is a DX camera) it is the equivalent of 36mm.
Nikon D50 and D70s – what was Nikon thinking?
These two DSLRs were introduced the same time, April 22, 2005. They are both consumer-level cameras, so why release them on the same day?
Nikon D70s
My latest purchase is a Nikon D70s.
A few photos from the yard
I took the Nikon D50 and the Nikon AF 24mm f/2.8 on a little stroll around the yard and the surrounding woods.
Early morning walk
I took the Nikon D80, 24mm and the dog for a walk this morning. Weather was nothing special, but I tried to do the most of it. In fact, it was still really chilly, probably one or two below zero. The dog liked it though, she’s snoozing quietly on the sofa beside me.
Nikon AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED
This is a rather nice lens, and it is really cheap. It sits on my D80 most of the time, which makes sense, since it does not support autofocus on the D5500. If you have a compatible camera, and you can find this lens for a good price, go for it.
