Nikon F100 versus F5

Posted on 2024-09-17 by Magnus

Like with most physical things, you really have to hold and use a camera with your own hands to get an appreciation for how it feels, and how it compares to other cameras.

I’ve had both the F100 and the F5, but kept the F5. Part of the reason for that is that it just feels better to hold and use. The price you pay is a bigger size and more weight compared to the F100.

If you’ve not had the chance to use both, here might be the next best thing. A video showing you both cameras. Sure, it’s in Japanese, but you can just look at it.
