I took a chance and got a used Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AI lens on eBay for $60. It was described as having “a few scratches and dust”, which it does, but not enough to cause problems, I suspect.
The 50mm focal length has always been a favorite of mine. Because of being affordable, often sharp, and typically small and light.
So, now I look forward to using this lens a bit, primarily on the Nikon FM. I’ll get back to you with actual photos as soon as I can.
