I don’t like looking at other people’s work

As you should have picked up by now, I’m a massive fan of William Eggleston. In this video, he admits to not generally being a fan of other photographers work.

In the video, Eggleston says:

“I really love looking at my own work. And I do not enjoy, generally, looking at other people’s work.”

“There are exceptions,” Eggleston adds, “like Lee Friedlander.”

“But they don’t grow on trees,” he adds.
