Classic tractor plowing
It’s an annual event, a competition in plowing with classic tractors in Sevalla. This was the first time we visited.
Car race
Today, we visited a car race, “Krutcupen” (The powder cup), in which regular cars compete. It was fun photographing something a bit different.
The first photos taken with the Nikon F75 (N75)
These are my first analog photos for, I guess, six or seven years, or more. They’re taken with the Nikon F75 (F55), various lenses, and Kodak ColorPlus 200.
We received our new vicar
Today, we received our new vicar, Karin Degréus, in Kumla-Tärna-Kila parish. She really started in July, but with summer, we figured that it would be better to wait with the official welcoming.
What makes analog different?
So much has been said and written about what makes analog different from digital photography. Is there anything I can add? Probably not, but I will try.
Swiss farmers visit Sweden
Yesterday, a group of around 30 farmers from Switzerland visited a farm in the region where I work. It was fun following along and taking photos.

Today we had to take one of the cars for service, and while we waited we drove around in the countryside around Västerås. It was primarily to see if any farmers were out harvesting (which they weren’t), but I got a few good shots of other things.
Green filter – any point in digital photography?
In analog film photography, filters of different colors were (and are) pretty common. Red for darkening blue sky, green for lightening greenery, and so on. But what about colored filters on a digital camera, is there any point?
