Today we visited Gysinge, an old ironworks mill just north of us. It’s well worth a visit. For some reason, already when I was shooting, the place just shouted “black and white” to me, perhaps because it is a rather monochrome world already.

I just recently heard of kintsugi. It was through the mention of Koo Stark in a documentary about Prince Andrew and googling her that I came across this Japanese word. Apparently, she held a photography exhibition in London in 2017 with the title Kintsugi.
