Advent concert in Kila church

Posted on 2024-12-012024-12-01 by Magnus

Yesterday, there was an advent concert in Kila church. It was a great concert in photographically challenging conditions. Today is the first Sunday of advent.

These photos were all taken with a Sony a6600 at ISO 25600, and I tried to balance sharpness with noise removal. A few photos are a bit too sharp because of the noise removal, but you can’t tell too much at the size you see them at here.

As I’ve said many times before, churches are a huge challenge photographically, especially in terms of white balance. In this situation, I set what I thought was a suitable white balance in one shot, then copied that to the rest. I could do that because the light was the same throughout.
